Six Bay Terminal Extension, Dublin Airport

Airport building comprising six bay extension to existing terminal to provide new passenger facilities, automated luggage handling facilities and food and beverage outlets. Full architectural services including interior design from inception through to completion. Although the Six Bay Extension also includes a significant expansion of airside facilities its focus has been to increase overall capacity of the terminal from 12 million to 20 million passengers per annum. To achieve this, the landside concourse facilities at all levelshave been more or less doubled in size. Phase one of the project (totaling 25,000 sq. m.) was completed in June of 2000. This essentially amounted to the 6 structural bays of the new build extension (Six Bay).
