This project comprises the relocation of Northern Trust’s Dublin Office and their recent acquisition, ING Barings Bank, from two previous IFSC locations into a new 4,400 sq.m single headquarters building at Georges Court, Townsend Street, Dublin 2.
The fit-out, which included a client meeting suite, training rooms, a substantial cafe and a complex data centre as well as accommodation for over 400 staff was completed on an extremely fast-track basis with a fit-out programme of 16 weeks which dovetailed into the main building contract and allowed the client to take occupation immediately following practical completion of the larger complex, despite the absorption of a considerable amount of client changes.
The design makes maximum use of a deep and efficient floorplate with communication across and between floors enhanced, maximum daylight provided to general office space, shared space located in areas which can be accessed without disturbing office users and a café with a view across the river to the IFSC.
