The first Marriott Hotel in Ireland opened in Spring 2002. This International standard 5 star 148 bedroom hotel is carefully sited on the Druids Glen estate in Newtownmountkennedy exploiting spectacular views over the well renowned championship golf courses, Druids Glen and Druids Heath.
The hotel is designed as a series of pavilions and courtyards each with varying levels and a broken roofline. By breaking the roof pattern of the development the building layout takes full advantage of the Wicklow landscape.
The hotel is divided into three parts; a central block containing lobby, bars and restaurants; a conference centre and a private residential area comprising the hotels bedroom suites and leisure facility.
